Onsite training
Our Pastel training and Quickbooks training is done at clients’ premises. We have found it to be more effective when clients are trained using their company data and information. We will firstly assess the type of training required by the client. Usually each person using the software would require specific Pastel training and Quickbooks training, on their functions. We find that individual one-on-one training is more beneficial as each person learns at a different pace, and when training in this way, the training is context related to that specific individual’s tasks.
Once the initial Pastel training session is completed, we would then give employees tasks to do on the software. We will monitor their progress and do further training when they are comfortable with each stage of the training. In this way, they are able to utilise the knowledge they are acquiring as they are doing the actual work on the software. As staff members leave the company and replacements are employed, we are available to bring the new employees up to speed with their knowledge so that the transition is as smooth as possible.
Our consultants are also very skilled at analysing the shortcomings within a department as far as it affects the efficiency of the Pastel or Quickbooks Accounting or Payroll software and will often recommend changes in the existing systems and workflow. As new versions of the software are released, we will ensure that the staff are trained and are familiar with any enhancements or changes in the software. Our consultants charge all training at an hourly rate, depending on how many people will be trained at one time.
Group Training
We find that sometimes it is beneficial to conduct group training with certain staff members who have similar functions in an organisation. This could then be followed up with individual training with each person to refine their knowledge. Our experienced lecturers can train up to 20 delegates at a time. The specifics of the training session will be decided with the client. We will work out a daily rate, depending on the number of delegates and the context of the training.
We are able to arrange our own Pastel training and Quickbooks venue, which is setup in a classroom-style, or we can run this type of Pastel training and Quickbooks course at the clients’ premises. The best method of training in the classroom environment is using a projector, preferably with each delegate working simultaneously on their own computer using the same version of Pastel or Quickbooks Payroll or Accounting software.
Certificates
We are able to offer certificates to delegates who have successfully attended training courses. Many employees want to add this feature to their CV’s.
Telephone support
This is usually offered by the software companies. Pastel Accounting, Pastel Evolution Accounting, Pastel Payroll and Pastel Evolution Payroll, in fact all the Pastel suites of products have telephone support included in their annual licence fee.
Ongoing Support
This is similar to the onsite training, which is done by the same consultants.
Once the employees have been trained, there may well be times when something
goes wrong with either the system or the software - we are on hand to
assist with any problems. Our Pastel training and Quickbooks consultants
charge their usual hourly rate as well as travel charges per kilometre.
