Pastel Accounting Version 11 has finally been released and with it, numerous changes have been implemented. We recommend taking advantage of the current pricing model and purchasing the upgraded version, as Pastel will revise their prices in October of this year. Read below, and discover the new and exciting features that have made it onto Pastel Accounting 11’s laundry list of positive enhancements.
- E-documents: SARS now requires your electronic documents to follow a certain list of protocols. Pastel 11 now fulfil these obligations.
- Data backup online with IronTree: With the latest version of Pastel, you can now register with IronTree – this is a highly secure service, which gives you 24 hour access to your documents. Deposit and retrieve documents at any time, with the utmost in security.
- An easy to follow audit trail: Your electronic documents will never again have to fall under scrutiny. Pastel will flag all documents, and create a ‘paper trail’ that is simple to follow come audit time.
- Tax report alterations: For noting discrepancies on the VAT Control General Ledger Account and the Tax Control account, a note has been added – this will display any variances.
- Fax with Pastel: It is now possible to send documents directly from your Pastel on to clients who only have access to faxing utilities.
Multi currency version
For the multi currency version of Pastel Accounting new features include:
- Foreign currency invoices are now displayed in Rands. The VAT act demands this, and the latest version of Pastel Accounting is fully compliant in this regard.
- Reminder messages are now easily set - with regards to the user who wants to check on the exchange rate and discover the correct rates on the spot.
Pastel POS comes with its own list of enhancements. A new touch screen interface makes it a breeze for any operator to access the system’s usual features.
